ASF Autolinee is a company that provides public passenger transport services in the province of Como and other surrounding areas. Despite having different names and corporate ownerships over the years, ASF has always been a key reference point for Local Public Transport in the Como area.
Ownership and Shareholding
The company’s share capital is 51% owned by S.P.T. Holding S.p.A., while 49% is held by Omnibus Partecipazioni.
- The shareholders of S.P.T. Holding S.p.A. are the Municipality and Province of Como, the Province of Lecco, and CPT.
- The shareholders of Omnibus Partecipazioni are Arriva Italia and the Ferrovie Nord Group.
Transport services
Since July 1, 2005, ASF has been managing numerous public transport services, including:

Province of Como: Through the consortium company STECAV (www.stecav.it), the service is provided by ASF in collaboration with FNMA.

City of Como and urban area: Through the Como Fun&Bus consortium company (www.funandbus.it), which operates service for the bus network with ASF and for the Como-Brunate funicular with A.T.M. S.p.A.

Province and Municipality of Lecco: ASF manages transport services through Lecco Trasporti S.c.a r.l. (www.leccotrasporti.it).
International Services
In addition, ASF also manages 2 international lines:
- Line 1: San Fermo – Como – Chiasso
- Line C12: Menaggio – Porlezza – Lugano
Staff and Vehicles
ASF Autolinee has a total workforce of approximately 500 people and operates 310 buses. The company is also supported by a network of 13 depots and garages, 4 of which include public offices and workshops.
